Alec Baldwin returned to “Saturday Night Live” this weekend to take some very lame shots at President Donald Trump — and even the president himself later weighed in on the purely political and anti-Republican performance.

Ignoring any and all controversies on the Left as usual — Ralph Northam, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez or Justin Fairfax, anyone? — the cold open of “SNL” targeted Trump’s declaration of a national emergency this week in order to secure funding for a border wall between the United States and Mexico.

“I’m here to declare a very urgent, important national emergency,” Baldwin’s Trump said after stepping behind a podium in front of a group of reporters.

“I just had a great health exam. I’m still standing at 6 foot 7,” he added.

Speaking of the border wall a bit later on, Baldwin’s Trump said, “We. Need. Wall. We have a tremendous amount of drugs flowing into this country from the southern border, or the brown line, as many people have asked me not to call it.”

He continued, “That’s why we need wall, because wall works. Wall makes safe. You don’t have to be smart to understand that.”

Baldwin’s Trump then said the emergency was “fake.”

“You all see why I gotta fake this emergency, right? I have to because I want to. It’s really simple. We have a problem,” he said.

He later added, “And then it will end up in the Supreme Court, and then I’ll call my buddy [Brett] Kavanaugh, and I’ll say it’s time to repay the Donny, and he’ll say, ‘New phone, who dis?’ Then the Mueller report will be released, crumbling my house of cards…”

He continued to mumble about various scenarios in an incoherent rant.

Here’s what the president, in a tweet, commented on Sunday morning:

To top it all off, Baldwin’s Trump finally said that after all the lawsuits were behind him — the “personal hell of playing president will finally be over.”
