A supporter of the “White Dudes for Harris” coalition was seen having an intense reaction on Election Night after realizing former President Donald Trump was poised to win the 2024 presidential race.
In a video that quickly circulated on social media platform X, the man, later identified as Steven Williams, expressed frustration with a profane outburst before tearing off his shirt and storming off camera.
“I can’t believe Trump is actually going to win this [expletive] thing,” Williams exclaimed, visibly upset.

“White Dudes for Harris,” the group Williams was supporting, is a coalition formed to back Kamala Harris’s presidential bid and address what her campaign viewed as a demographic challenge among white male voters.
The group gained attention when Trump took aim at them during a speech at the annual Al Smith political dinner in New York City in October.
At the event, Trump poked fun at the coalition, saying, “There’s a group called ‘White Dudes for Harris.’ But I’m not worried about them at all, because their wives and their wives’ lovers are all voting for me.”

The line drew laughter from the audience, including comedian Jim Gaffigan, who was seated nearby, while Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer maintained a neutral expression.
“White Dudes for Harris” describes itself as an organization seeking to challenge Trump’s appeal among white male voters and support Harris’s campaign.

The group’s website states, “We know that as white dudes, we have both a strong and positive role to play in America’s shared future. We aren’t going to sit around and let the MAGA crowd bully other white guys into voting for a hateful and divisive ideology.”
Harris initially gained substantial support after President Joe Biden announced he would not seek re-election.
Following her nomination, she quickly raised over $100 million in donations, and her campaign rallied further support at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, where she accepted the party’s nomination.
However, Trump secured a significant comeback, winning crucial swing states such as North Carolina, Georgia, and Pennsylvania to reclaim the presidency.
Trump’s victory marked a return to the White House, ending a competitive race that kept both campaigns and supporters on edge.
