A former Democratic National Committee (DNC) staffer is facing backlash after allegedly leaking details of a planned U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raid just hours before it was set to take place.
Pablo Manriquez, who previously worked as the DNC’s director of Latino and Hispanic outreach, posted on social media over the weekend that ICE was preparing to conduct a raid in northern Virginia.
The post, which quickly gained attention, included warnings and instructions for illegal aliens on how to evade capture.

“ICE RAIDS are planned for Monday & Tuesday in Northern Virginia, per multiple sources who tell us ICE has obtained between 75 and 100 judicial warrants,” Manriquez wrote on X on Sunday afternoon. He followed up with additional posts, advising individuals to take precautions.

“Judicial warrants mean ICE can go into your homes, so plan accordingly,” he wrote in one post. Another post warned, “Remember that state police have been deputized to help ICE, so highways, etc, are unsafe.”

None of Manriquez’s posts had been deleted as of Monday morning, but he had restricted who could comment on them.
His initial post had already gained almost 750,000 views.
The leak was discussed on Fox & Friends Monday morning, where hosts criticized Manriquez for tipping off those targeted by ICE.
“Thanks to Manriquez, the migrant community is well aware of what ICE has got planned today,” Fox News’ Steve Doocy said.
Co-host Lawrence Jones pointed out that the judicial warrants referenced by Manriquez indicated a judge had approved the arrests of specific individuals. Despite this, Jones noted, Manriquez “was still okay with tipping them off.”
“It’s dangerous for our guys,” Doocy responded, highlighting the risks such leaks pose to law enforcement officers.
The hosts also questioned whether Manriquez had committed a crime by posting information about the upcoming raid.
Doocy noted that the true source of the leak within the government was the primary concern.
“It’s whoever leaked it to him. It could be someone from the courts, it could be somebody from the federal government,” Doocy said.
Hey @ICEgov, Pablo Manríquez is alerting illegals about ICE raids.
Please have him immediately arrested, jailed, and sent to Gitmo.

Leaks about ICE operations have been a growing issue for Trump administration officials working on mass deportation efforts.
White House border czar Tom Homan and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem recently stated they had identified the source of previous leaks concerning raids in Colorado and Los Angeles but did not disclose further details.
Homan has previously speculated that some leaks may be coming from within the FBI, which often has advance knowledge of ICE operations.
“Remember, when they leak information to the press in order to blow an op, they are putting law enforcement lives in jeopardy,” Noem said in a Fox News interview last week.
“They are risking their lives and putting their families in the position where they’ll have to live without those individuals any further.”
Noem also criticized government officials who she says are undermining ICE efforts for political reasons.
“It’s amazing how these bureaucrats who have an agenda to stop the work that we’re doing to bring safety to America, how they will sell each other down the river if it’s just to protect themselves,” she added.

The controversy surrounding Manriquez’s post has fueled renewed concerns over internal leaks and the safety risks they pose to law enforcement officers carrying out ICE operations.
While no official investigation has been announced, questions remain about how Manriquez obtained the information and whether legal action could be pursued against him or his source.
